Like other orders the Redemptoristine nuns have suffered greatly during the last 40 years. Many venerable monasteries have closed down; others are closing down, there are but few that still function.

Of all the that remains of the Order of the Most Holy Redeemer, only the nuns of this monastery: live the old Rule; wear the full traditional habit; pray the ancient Divine Office in Latin; and assist daily at the old Mass
-Mass in the Extraordinary Form- and, as subjects of theApostolic Administration St Jean Vianney in Campos, Brazil, live in undisputed union with the Church and the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI.

Other valliant nuns have tried: none have been able.

It will be only on the day of Judgment that we will know all of the silent holocausts offered to God by many good Redemptoristines throughout the Church who have wept at the destruction of their vocation.

The nuns of this monastery have suffered. By God's Providence they have survived; still intact but greatly diminished in number. We make these nuns known to the English speaking world. We promote their traditional vocation. We solicit alms for them. Please help them by your prayers.

Especially, please send us donations for their upkeep and the building of their monastery as, after the religious storms, they begin again. <<
